Rebecca See

Rebecca See is an Alberta-based producer, writer, director, and Co-Founder of Vivid Visions Studios. Working across film and television, she develops bold, character-driven stories with a focus on complex relationships, identity, survival, and the darker corners of human experience.

Her current slate includes the feature Last Call, series The End Begins, and shorts Once, Again, Silvered, and Always, Even Now, alongside producing and development work on Black Lake and What Would Whitney Do? In 2026, Black Lake was selected for the TIFF Series Creators’ Lab, where Rebecca participates as Producer.

With a background in acting, theatre, dance, and stunt work, Rebecca brings a multidisciplinary perspective to filmmaking both behind and in front of the camera. Through Vivid Visions, she is focused on growing Alberta-made stories while building creative partnerships across Canada and internationally.

Shannon Steele

Shannon Steele is a Calgary-based writer, producer, actor, and Co-Founder of Vivid Visions Studios. With a background spanning performance, business, and international experience, she brings a distinctive perspective to character-driven storytelling across film and television.

Shannon is the creator and writer of Black Lake, a psychological crime series selected for the 2026 TIFF Series Creators’ Lab. Her work with Vivid Visions also includes writing and producing across the company’s growing slate of film and television projects, including Sunshine, Falling to Pizzas, and Recommend for Mercy.

With roots in dance and theatre, Shannon’s creative career has expanded across acting, writing, development, and production. Having spent a decade living abroad in Southeast Asia, she brings an international perspective to Vivid Visions as the company continues building partnerships and stories across borders.

DeNeane Osmond

Art & Set Designer | Assisting Producer | Director

DeNeane Osmond is an emerging designer based in Calgary, seeking new challenges in the invigorating film and theatre industry. While her passion lies in creating humorous, quirky characters, she is currently enjoying exploring Calgary's vibrant theatre scene as a Set Designer and Set Production Coordinator. For film, she is pursuing roles as a Storyboard Artist, Assistant Director, and Production Assistant.

Karalee Harris

Assisting Producer | Director | Writer

Karalee Harris is a Calgary-based director, producer, and writer focused on intimate, character-driven storytelling. She has directed and produced several short films, including Distortion and Compromised, and is a producer on the upcoming feature film Shutter Punk (in post-production). With a background in theatre and a passion for fostering creative communities, Karalee also organizes the annual Outcasts Showcase, a multidisciplinary arts event highlighting local talent. Her work blends grounded visuals with emotionally honest narratives, often exploring complex female relationships and perspectives.
